Two years ago put my hummingbird feeder out
Right outside my bedroom window would they humm
Sure enough two of them came and they are territorial
One would fly to the feeder other would say no
In the winter summer thing let my feeder go
Second year I noticed a couple more
When feeder was done not allowed to ignore
One day a hummingbird flew up touched my nose
He was telling me the feeder was empty heaven knows
They as I see don't humm they actually flutter
I was beginning to think they think I am their mudder
Now today there are at least five maybe more
They greet me at the bedroom outer door
Wife turned TV on to a radio fifties station
This filled my hummingbird with much elation
She called me said, "Look your kids are out dancing."
Sure enough to the music they were out there prancing
In my world today these creatures my life are enhancing
And to the music bouncing back and forth they are indeed dancing
