A Beautiful Child

The Father has given His love,
That is flowing down from above;
And giving us His gentle touch,
Because of loving us so much.

For we are the children of God,
Never forget what we are called;
So that is what we truly are,
And Christ being our Savior.

Christ is also our Brother,
Who taught us to love each other;
But the world does not recognize,
And would rather criticize.

For they did not recognize Him,
Thought followers went out on a limb;
With everything we proclaim,
As the Son of God that we claim.

What we will be is still not clear,
But our faith will keep that fear;
From ever causing us a doubt,
What the Word of God is about.

So I know we will not be grim,
On that day when we will see Him;
For when Christ finally appears,
All true Christians will end their fears.
