Some Practical Precepts
Some Practical Precepts
I am asking you to show,
Gratitude to all of those;
That are leading to and fro,
Of the majority chose.
They instruct and work among,
From where they govern this land;
And the principles are hung,
Exactly where we all stand.
I am asking you to love,
By thinking highly of them;
Because of the work thereof,
That we should never condemn.
But if you do not agree,
An election will be soon;
You can send them your decree,
And legislate from the moon.
If they are not living right,
Please do not be in despair;
God will keep them in His sight,
And pay them back what they dare.
Do not hate what God reveals,
There is a reason in time;
They will work on their appeals,
As they will pay for their crime.
