People Cheating God
The Lord sends a courier,
And He shall prepare the way;
But be not a worrier,
If you do not go astray.
There is no need to go search,
He will suddenly come down;
For taking charge of the church,
Having on His golden crown.
The one that you desire,
Comes for those who will abide;
Like a refiners fire,
For gold that is purified.
He will be a refiner,
As He sits to purify;
Those He that were a sinner,
And repented from each lie.
So as in the days of old,
And as in the ancient years;
He will purge you like the gold,
Refined from all of your fears.
For God will be coming near,
In judging the ones that cheat;
And those that are not sincere,
As well as full of deceit.
