i know iv'e got a hug waiting for sure:
with one foot in the door inside:
theres my maria my baby girl my pride:
she tells me daddy i love you give me a hug:
then she jumps in my arms up from the rug:
she holds me tight:
squeezes me just right:
she looks at me with her eyes of blue:
she says daddy dont you know i missed you too:
she will tell me all about her day:
about at school and play:
she gives me a hug and holds me tight:
oh lord it feels just right:
the love of a child is so precios and dear:
when your a daddy hold your children near:
the love of a child is so simple and pure:
the fond memories of your children for a lifetime will endure:
life can beat us burn us shake us upside down:
but you cant help but to smile with the love of a child around:
she waits for me at the door until i come inside:
then she jumps on my back she wants a pony ride:
my baby girl she is so special and sweet:
shes seven years old and shes really neat:
theres not anyone more special to me:
ten my baby girl iya can you see:
