A Hole Within the Ocean
down below the ocean floor lies a hole spewing oil at a depth no man has ever tried before nor can control oil gushing deep within the water that kills and destroys a hole within the ocean floor that never should have been marine life dies wetlands shrivel away dreams that disappear peoples lives alter as lifestyles come to an end hopes die ones they trusted allowed greed to take control judgments to fade a hole within the ocean floor that never should have been lies told to mask mistakes actions taken to hide guilts responsibilities where is the valor the trust of the world now the carelessness survives lack of regard for the safety of this world the trust of all now ignored a hole within the ocean floor that never should have been where does it end where does it begin are there any answers at all can the damage be redeemed can the destruction be healed is the trust now lost forever as desperation to repair bears out a hole within the ocean floor that never should have been Vote for this poem
