waitin for the school bus

four years old brand new back pack-new shoes-new clothes-waitin for the bus to go to school:
ready for kindergarden to learn the golden rule:

in the back pack full to the top-pencils-crayons-ruler-glue-everything brand spanling new:
for days just couldnt wait for the bus to come for the first day of school"

when the bus finally came all the other kids excitedly rushed ahead:
but this four year old was motionless instead:

his dad said come on its time now to get on the bus:
but the four year old who had been so excited did not want to rush:

finally the school bus driver could not wait anymore:
when the bus left this four year old little boy the tearsegan to pour:

his dad smiled at him and said---do ya just want to stay at home and play for another year:
then the four year old smiled and wiped away the tears:
