working in a nursing home:
old folks feel so lost and alone:
they just want to talk to friend or family on the phone:
they feel so lonely lost and alone:
up and down the hallway they will roam:
they speak of years gone and past:
they arent so sure how much longer they can last:
they say its time and they want to go:
sometimes they get so depressed and low:
it only takes a little while to put on a friendly smile:
to have some fun smile laugh and play:
to do your best to brighten the day:
no one knows when there last day will arrive:
so just have fun live laugh and be alive:
working in a nursing home old folks feel so lost and alone:
this is where they now call home:
do your best to smile and sing:
then to all the old folks happiness bring:
