sacrifices gotta be made:
trust god dont be afraid:
believe in your heart that you can:
be strong and up tall always stand:
it wont be easy to earn a degree:

my first step is to register for a class:
im finally ready to start now at last:
so here in go on my journey to get a degree:
ill do my best you see:
in my mind i gotta know that i can:
then with pride i need to stand:
one class at a time i need to take:
then good grades i need to make:
