5-year old waiting for the bus
5-years old and waiting for the bus to go to school:
the bus stop was almost in front of our house itv was cool:
this five year old he was the first one in line:
he didn't want to miss the bus so he was on time:
he was proud to go to school and start kindergarden he was ready:
he stood in line all the way up front and he held his position steady:
then he saw the bus coming down the road:
on his face the terror showed:
when the bus stopped and the door opened right in front of his face:
he was just totally numb and frozen in place:
the other kids all rushed around him and got up on the bus:
for this five year old there just was no rush:
the bus driver waited as long as he couldthen the door closed and the the bus drove away:
his dad got mad and said you have to go to school today:
so they got in the car and followed the bus to school anyway:
the dad said are you ready for school--the boy said i'll be okay:
the dad pulled up right in front of the school then gave his son a big hug good bye:
but the boy froze and had a big sigh:
the dad had to park the car and walk the boy to his class:
finally kindegarden was gonna start for this five year old at last:
the dad met his teacher then hugged his son goodbye:
then the boy ran after his dad he was too shy:
so the dad thought he would just stand in the back of the class for just ten minutes or so:
everytime the dad was ready to leave the boyb too was gonna go:
so the dad ended up staying that first day-and really the first week to help the teacher with the class:
the dad was just happy his son was in school at last:
the next week the boy didn't want to get on the bus:
again he was in no rush:
but he knew now he had to go:
and he got on the bus all by himself with a smiling glow:
