my pride is trying to regain
my pride im trying to regain living with this shame:
the issue is my weight:
something to keep talking about i hate:
i try again and again then i fail:
again and again the same sad tale:
will i ever achieve my best:
can i ever put it to rest:
or will i be a looser the rest of my life:
when no one believes in me not even my wife:
my own children have given up on me you see:
i dont know what my future will be:
why cant i beat this problem at hand:
why cant i with god and strength fight it and stand:
why do i let defeat come on in i gotta fight to win:
no one will get you up but you, have to set your mind to become thin:
today i hope will be the start:
of me mending my heart:
i dont have to depend on no one to lift me high:
i've gotta reach down again to try:
hang tough the going will be rough:
when you think you want to quit:
think how now you hurt quite a bit:
if in anythin you really want to win its really up to you:
to thine ownself stay true:
