the disappointment i feel
the disappointment i feel sometimes with my children today:
i think to myself one day there own children may treat them that way:
when i was young and growing up:
i am proud to say i was not corupt:
drugs or alcohol i did not use of any kind:
to my parents with respect i would mind:
there was no problem with me staying out so late:
and i dont think my parents ever felt my hate:
but my generosity and love they knew:
even as from a boy to a man i grew:
my voice to them i never raised:'
always mom and dad i praised:
so for me its so hard for me to take when my children treat me so low:
really to me its a low hard blow:
my younger children my daily leadership they stil need:
but my older kids i felt surprised at there greed:
when i see them off track:
it seems to set me a back:
its important to have things for your own:
but life is about generosity and affection to others shown:
family comes always first:
this is the most important verse:
