Discourage Not
I do not become discouraged,
Nor would I ever be ashamed;
Rather I have been encouraged,
Everything I have proclaimed.
I have refused to use secret,
Or any type of shameful way;
I will not do what to regret,
In some possible future day.
I do not use tricks of the trade,
Nor distort the Word of the Lord;
I merely try to render aid,
Why He should never be ignored.
The devil has blinded the minds,
Of the ones who do not believe;
And the darkness actually blinds,
Them so that they cannot receive.
They cannot be seeing the light,
That shines on the Good News of Christ;
Because a veil covers their sight,
The reason He was sacrificed.
Let the light shine out of the dark,
So the glory shines on His face;
And Christ walks with where they embark,
While He is shedding His grace.
