This poem is about going back to basics.
When I first started to write poetry it was just a gathering of all my thoughts and feelings of that day… or of that moment that I could combine and put a title to, as a way of understanding my own feelings and emotions… just a little bit of everything
A little bit of everything
A little bit sad
A little bit bad
A little bit lonely
A little bit glad
A little bit misunderstood
A little bit grand
A little bit of love maybe…?
A little bit a man
A little piece of jealousy
A little bit of hope
A little bit I understand
A little bit I cope
A little bit of history
A little bit to fight
A little bit of everything
Makes everything I write!
