MUDDY WATERSHer eyes are like jewels So brilliant and bright Her body round and firm As a huge watermelon blight Her bosomy figure rounded A child meal delight White teeth like stars They came out every night But she loved me not For I did not make her need For I left the troth empty in which she did feed She wanders the village searching for a new mate If you have a Canteen truck You'll do for her quite great For I have loved her once I could love her again "I think not!" said with a grin For me I'm not searching As for us it is far too late Is that her or an earthquake Ain't that something Telling everyone it's me shes dumping She's gone and me--up in the air am jumping Poetry Ad-Free Upgrades Vote for this poem
