theres a place in this world where you can go:'
where the land is so beautiful and the pace is slow:
7,000 islands they all call home:
when you visit them you'll never feel alone:
the people are the most friendly you will see:
always smiling and so happy and full with glee:
the people are always so proud in how they look:
when you see the girls a second look you took:
the people are so beautiful especially in there heart:
there hospitality they show you right from the start:
the philippine islands are in asia too:
the waters so pure and sky blue:
tagalog is the native languade they speak there:
people always seem so happy without care:
family means together as one:
in the philippines families are together in all thats done:
the filipino people have faced many hardships throughout the years:
but together as a family they have faced all there fears:
mount pinatubo erupted in a mighty blast:
but even the thick clouds of ash came to pass:
earthquakes have shook the ground:
for many miles around:
the monsoon rains have poured day and night:
the filipino people with faith and hope have never lost sight:
the sun always shines bright on another day:
because they have faith and always pray:
i look forward to the day i can go home:
to feel so welcome and happy never alone:
