tears of joy:
with a brand new boy:
bow your head to pray:
that you are blessed this way:
tears of joy when your son is a man:
and with pride he stands:
tears of joy when your son becomes a dad:
remember him as a lad:
tears of joy with your son now grown:
you see the love to his son shown:
for my father i saw tears of joy when he was old and gray:
he thanked the lord for me his son when he prayed:
tears of joy that my father had:
he was proud of his lad:
