going home to minnesota
i have three more work days left after today:
on this friday we gat our pay:
i will pay some general bills and my bus ticket:
i will go down to the greyhound bus station to get:
so i plan to depart on saturday:
me and reyboy will be on our way:
back to see my mother in the cold winterland:
to go back to my roots is my plan:
i need to build up my momentum back inside:
deep within me i must regain my pride:
i want to breathe the cold minnesota air:
i want to see all the minnesota trees so bare:
i want to drive by familiar sites:
i want to go up to garvin heights:
i want to see the home where i was raised:
i know my son reyboy will be amazed:
i'll take plenty photos of reyboy and me:
to bring them home for everyone to see:
my son and me will depart soon:
probably on saturday before noon:
when i'm at the bus station then finally sitting on the bus:
i'm going to relax take my time with no rush:
i plan to write some poems as we travel east on land:
really that is my plan:
i want to keep writing now about all things that are coming to my mind:
i think i will be inspired to write poetry now of many kinds:
i would only write before if i was touched or inspired in some way:
but now i am trying to write something everyday:
if you know you are pushing yourself to write well the pressure is real:
you think your best writings come from being inspired and touched then just writing exactly what you feel:
soon i will hold my mother in my arms:
and i will feel at last safe from lifes harms:
my mothers touch:
to me will heal so much:
i just have to get home:
to feel the love of my mother towards me shown:
mom she will inspire me to greatness:
she will help me to achieve my very best:
i love my mom so dear:
oh god i cant wait to hold her so near:
going home to minnesota ya know:
just patiently now waiting to go:
