the rain has stopped
the rain has stopped and the clouds have moved away:
now we have a bright shinning sun light day:
it rained and rained for days and weeks:
it overflooded all the creeks andc streets:
the mud slide down the mountain side:
some people lost all they had and just cried:
it was the flood of 95:
when california had to survive:
it took its toll throughout the state:
i guess it was all in fate:
the rain has stopped and the clouds have moved away:
now we have a brand new sunny day:
it reminds us all that anytime we can fall:
so for now stand up proud and always walk tall:
if there is someone in trouble or need;
put your hand out as a friend indeed:
we never know what may come our way:
so have strength with faith andc always pray:
when the sun is out how can you pout:
just feel the warmth and move about:
look at the beauty of a bird flying in the air:
with your loved ones all your love share:
a beautiful day is so pure and sweet;
it feels so good when good friends you meet:
as we smile in the warm bright sun:
as we play and just have fun:
dont forget the sun can quickly fgo away;
and the clouds can appear again today:
we can nwever be sure what we face along the way:
we can just kerep faith and always pray:
when life gets you down and you feel so low:
just let god and let go:
