Esteem for His Word
Seek the Lord while He be found,
Listen for a possible sound;
Call Him while He is near,
Pay attention for you to hear.
Let evil abandon their way,
Through their thoughts causing them to stray;
So the Lord will return to them,
To save their souls and not condemn.
The Lord will then freely forgive,
Again they are able to live;
Knowing of the peace and the hope,
Goes beyond what they have to cope.
My thoughts are not always the same,
In the direction that you aim;
Just as my ways are not as yours,
For more tolerance also endures.
As Heaven is higher than earth,
So is what God is truly worth;
Higher than any thoughts or ways,
From any one of us obeys.
Rain and snow come down from the sky,
And it may make you wonder why;
Just as the plants will sprout and grow,
His Word is helping you to know.
