PHOTOGRAPH THREE AND FOUR

Photograph three was my cousin and I in the parade
Sure she could have had a date she invited me
Close cousins you say I have to agree
Photograph four with another young girl
Curly Blondie hair and eyes to adore
I was ten and she was seven and loved horses
My sister grew up beautiful and strong
Now look--does she look like a girl who drag raced?
She won the Powder puff unlimited and the parachute failed
At the end of the drag race her car sailed into a bank
She wanted to race again but hubby said no
We were dressed up Easter to go to Church
My sister died two years ago now in heaven
On my deck soon to bloom the Praying Mantis Lilly
Am I to be the only one left in these photographs
As one by one they fade away the room gets chilly

There are more pictures in the stack:
No amount of mental images do they lack
