 ramblings and things

revelations

she undressed slowly that wet day
first the coat hung to dry by me
then the sweater warm and woolly
and then the top so I could start to see

the body begin to appear
saw her breasts
spring free from
their cotton nests
there
before my eyes
perfect in shape
perfect in size

and the boyish woman escaped
from clothes that had concealed
and a woman of considerable charms
and delicate figure was revealed
and I stood
looking on in awe
as the rest
fell to the floor

as each appraised the other
neither taking any haste
just savouring the moment until
I slipped an arm around her waist
and
that winter's day
just slipped
so relentlessly away

I watched her dress
hide again her body from my eye
handed back her winter coat
with a last reluctant kiss goodbye
