I feel ubiquitous,ignoble,and inadequate
as I quietly walk these serene shores.
The stars in the deep azure sky
whisper the secrets of the world to me,
and pledge me to eternal secrecy,
but offer no real help to me
in my perilous ugly plight.
The moon's pale,smiling face gazes
down upon me with a quizzical look
as I stoop down to scoop up colorful
sea shells off the sandy shore, but
offers me no sound advice about what
I should do to rectify my situation.
And as I slowly walk with my toes dragging
in the cool sand of the seashore I
at last get a helpful answer to my troubles
from the whispering winds, who adamantly say,
"Don't do it again!"
