 JANET'S PLANET

SUNSET

Photobucket
After a very hot humid day
There it was
I saw it going down
Disappearing behind the giant trees
It is called sunset
I tried to capture it with my camera
Many splendid trees stood in the way
In my memory it will stay
So bright, blazing, deep red
Couldn't look directly at it
It's something about the sunset
The ending of another day
The end of opportunities or possibilities
What didn't get done today
Will get done tomorrow
There's something a little sad
To let the day go
Yet, it must leave
The sun must rest
It is the way nature intended
The sun will rise again tomorrow
Then again another day of opportunities or possibilities
Until tomorrow, say good-bye
To the sun
