 Remember the Alamo!

On the 6th of March 1836…

A hot Texas wind
blew across the Alamo.
Canon roar after canon roar,
charge after charge.

The defenders cry…
“Liberty or Death!”

Bravery at its best,
may their souls
forever rest!

One last desperate cry…
Hold, hold was the last command!
Once their flag fell and the
smoked cleared, all was lost.

The courageous one hundred
 and eighty-nine men at the
Alamo…
would be no more, but their
spirits will live forevermore!

Remember the Alamo!
