A Revealing God
A generation of your sons,
Will be rising up after you;
As a stranger from afar stuns,
You while he corrupts your view.
Plagues and disease covers the land,
That many will try to blame God;
And will turn away how they stand,
Angered while calling a fraud.
They will see the poisoned soil,
Polluted with suffer and salt;
Flowing rivers filled with oil,
Quickly to blame God is at fault.
Nothing will grow within the ground,
As well as the creatures will die;
Not a single bird makes a sound,
As all the people wonder why.
To other gods they go and wait,
These other gods that are unknown;
For to save themselves from this fate.
But feeling to be all alone.
For the false gods could not reveal,
Their teachings written in a book;
Instead they could only conceal,
The promises that just forsook.
