Deep within the misty pools of imagination
its cold sinister bell loudly tolls.
Dark thoughts of disaster and frigid fright
play bloody tricks on the inocent mind all
through the perilous black night as it evilly
tolls with tales of horror and fiendish rites
of passage into the world of eternal darknesss.
Its foreboding,vile message rings out in the feverish
silence as it brings nightmares to horrendous life
until we heed its terrible call and can sleep in
comforting safety and peace no more.
