 If Adam Didn't Sin

If Adam didn't sin and walked away from Eve
Would we be like him where satan can't deceive
Would we be like Jesus; a human without sin
Would we all be perfect if he was disciplined?

If Adam didn't sin and said “Please go away
I don't want that apple, don't make me go astray
I don't want the knowledge; I have all I need
That is my God's favor; and His love for me”

If Adam didn't sin and eat from that fruit tree
Would we still need Jesus to set our lost souls free
Would we all be sinners, this we'll never know
Cause Adam ate that apple, our nakedness did show

Since Adam ate that apple along with his wife Eve
We are helpless sinners filled with Adams greed
But we have a Savior who came on our accord
We're no longer Adams; we're children of the Lord
