Just a Helpless Sinner
I'm just a helpless sinner
A sinner to the end
But I've been made a winner
Cuz Jesus is my friend
He came to earth to save me
He came to save my soul
And though I am a weakling
He came to make me whole
He sacrificed His body
And shed His blood for me
He did this cuz He loves me
He died to set me free
He didn't have to do this
He could have let me die
But Jesus isn't selfish
True love's the reason why
Oh Jesus I must thank you
For all you've done for me
The suffering that you went through
While hanging on that tree
I mustn't make excuses
I need to spread Your word
To spread the love of Jesus
To those who haven't heard
