Promised Growth
Divine power has given,
Everything from Heaven;
We need for the godliness,
That is filled with blessedness.
Blessedness through the knowledge,
That comes not from a college;
Of One who called us His own,
As He sits upon His throne.
So through His integrity,
You have the tranquility;
Giving you the peace of mind,
Through the glory that you find.
For His promises are true,
Holding the highest value;
For sharing Divine nature,
And spiritually mature.
For you escape temptation,
That is filled with corruption;
From all sinful desires,
That any lust admires.
Knowledge gives you self-control,
That will sow into your soul;
And will give you endurance,
That God stamps His assurance.
