Too far from slavery to retrace the bold sway of unity
Too far from tyranny to regard it's brutal fatalities
Too far from humility to respect the force of history
Too far from boundaries to refine a requisite loyalty
Too far from accountability to augment the victories
Too far from integrity to assume responsibility
Too far from deficiencies to assess valid prosperities
Too far from ingenuity to author vital remedies
Too far from ancestry to endow a precedent dignity
Too far from prophecy to embrace grace's ransom legacy
Too far from theology to esteem God's Sole Sovereignty,
Too far from maturity engenders diverse dark slaveries.
I Corinthians 7:22-23 [NLT]
And remember, if you were a slave when the Lord
called you, you are now free in the Lord.
And if you were free when the Lord called you,
you are now a slave of Christ.
God paid a high price for you,
so don't be enslaved by the world.
