 There is Hope
I see the families in the park
It's like they're living in the dark
The words I hear the children say
It makes me think back to the days
When living simple was the life
With a husband, children, wife
When church on Sunday was the norm
But now our faith is just Luke-warm
Now lives revolve around the text
And children's minds are all on sex
Their minds are filled with wasteful mush
Enough to make a grown man blush
The TV screen is now the church
It's where our children do research
The internet is everywhere
You have no clue to whom you share
It is a shame what we've become
It is not good unless it's fun
We base our lives on just success
We have no clue how much we're blessed
But there is hope; it's in the cross
The death of Christ was for the lost
He rose again on Easter morn
For sin and death will be no more
