A Promised Angel
God will send a messenger,
Protecting you on your trip;
Ensuring no scavenger,
Try to lure you with a quip.
He will be taking you to,
The place where God has prepared;
So you are able to view,
All His glory to be shared.
No time for feeling so grim,
For the tidings will be glad;
Just pay attention to him,
And you will not feel so sad.
What he asks do not deny,
He is sent to help you live;
Please do not try to defy,
Because he will not forgive.
He acts upon the behalf,
Of authority of God;
Under the ministry staff,
Shows how to honor and laud.
If you follow you will know,
He will be ahead of you;
To defeat every foe,
As long as you remain true.
