so there it is
out in the open
twisted and shaken
bent and bruised
well past its date
curdling in footpath puddles
walked over by busy boots
unseen to the casual eye
as I keep my own wide open
in search of others
to catch my wink
to stare deep inside my own curdling eyes
to see me from all angles
right or wrong
lights shining or not
