Life as a Christian
Teaching and fellowship,
Breaking of bread and prayer;
Assisting those who slip,
Through this life that we share.
A feeling of some fear,
Over everyone;
Together persevere,
As guided by the Son.
All of us believers,
Will continue to meet;
For we are receivers,
Having a rightful seat.
While from time to time,
We will assist the poor;
Helping them as they climb,
Where they were washed ashore.
Just one purpose each day,
As joyful and humble;
Never going astray,
Nor complain or grumble.
Mindful of the real thing,
For life as a Christian;
Knowing what it will bring,
The godly intention.
