Alcoholic
supine I lay in wonder
drinking the mixture of out there
sipping everything and nothing
I blanket myself under octopus-ink sky
snort in the texture of it
swirl it around in my mouth a while
feel its tepid nature on my tongue
then spit it out before greed gathers
before I spoil myself
and forget the black pool above me
the ocean that's given me so much
and yet so little
beautifully brittle
laughing and crying
with me and at me
