Imitate God
Wake up sleeper rise from the dead,
God will ensure you will be fed;
You are a child that He loves,
With angels watching like peace doves.
Imitate God and live in love,
The way Christ also loves thereof;
Forfeiting to be sacrificed,
As an offering symbolized.
Being symbolized on the cross,
For our sins suffered a loss;
A soothing aroma to God,
That cleanses where we may be flawed.
But carnal knowledge is a sin,
That will start to corrupt within;
For perversion of any kind,
Or greed even distorts the mind.
It is the war that never ends,
And to God to who it offends;
Not keeping you in one accord,
Of conduct fitting to the Lord.
