Lies laid in truth gone before

Somewhere inside me a voice waits in silence
just wanting a place to be heard
it fears not inspection of thoughts never asked for
nor the feelings of guilt it has learnt
it would speak of a life laid open for all man
admitting prejudice, transgression and more
it would speak also of honesty and a truth ever after
from the lies laid in truth gone before.
