The Good Shepherd
I told you but you do not believe,
So how salvation to receive;
The things that I do in His name,
Are for His glory I proclaim.
So how are you able to sleep,
Knowing that you are a bad sheep;
No way could you ever rejoice,
Without responding to His voice.
For Jesus knows everyone,
That is a daughter or a son;
The Good Shepherd stands on the rock,
As He watches over the flock,
Each one is a child of God,
That always gives honor and laud;
And shall not wander and be lost,
Never letting God become crossed.
No one will ever tear away,
Or cause His flock to go astray;
Since the Good Shepherd does cherish,
Not let any of them perish.
For the Father gave us to Christ,
And willing to be sacrificed;
Because the greatest One of all,
Always willing to take the fall.
