THE V-100 ARMORED PERSONNEL CARRIER

She was this thing of great beauty the V-100 APC
She had an M-60 machine gun that was facing aft
And up front she had a heavy 50 cal. machine gun

She was used by the base Security Alert Teams
She could quickly come to back up your position
Whenever the situation had dictated this need

She would speed out to any spot along the wire
And as she had pulled up with her machine guns
She could rapidly end any type of threat there

To the defenders who had been in great danger
It was a great relief just to see her coming
That sound of her big Chrysler motor roaring

She'd do about 50 mph down the perimeter road
Racing up by your position with her guns firing
Her 50 cal. and her M-60 chattering out loudly

Putting her immense fire power right on target
She'd decimate any threat out beyond the wire
She was a sleek and agile beast everyone loved

The V-100 APC (Armored Personnel Carrier) had four
big tires instead of those tracks the tanks drove on
and it was powered by a very big Chrysler V-8 engine
and she was a very fast and a very agile beast. She
had a 50 cal. heavy machine gun mounted on the front
and a smaller light M-60 7.62mm machinegun mounted on
her facing toward the rear and when she roared up to
give us some badly needed extra fire power she was a
deadly beast to any foe stupid enough to fire at her.
