The Prophet
The true reason that I find hope,
Because I keep one thing in mind;
And I will continue to cope,
For knowing that the Lord is kind.
For His mercy truly endures,
And I have not a single doubt;
With taking all of the detours,
We could have been really wiped out.
His faithfulness is the greatest,
And compassion is limitless;
Countless times that I have been blest,
Living life with Him is priceless.
There is newness with each morning,
A bright sunrise greets a new day;
Giving us a gentle warming,
Sending His smile our way.
The Lord is good to those who wait,
If trying to seek help from Him;
He will ensure to compensate,
Having no need for feeling grim.
So the prophet will give you hope,
Onto anyone that would seek;
For he envisions the full scope,
Guiding you while you are weak.
