The Happy State
A new earth and a new heaven,
Unto us that will be given;
The past things will be forgotten,
And times being spoiled rotten.
For God is merciful and kind,
No longer will they come to mind;
With the dawning of a new day,
And the fading of shades of gray.
So be glad while you rejoice,
As you are lifting up your voice;
Seeing what will initiate,
Forever what God will create.
For the believers of the Word,
No more crying is to be heard;
Sorrow no longer that one lives,
For only joy that the Lord gives.
Those people who are as the worst,
As sinners are considered cursed;
Will be having the worst of fears,
Not living for a hundred years.
Others will live as long as trees,
For following all His decrees;
And be known as the chosen ones,
As being His daughters and sons.
