What God did through Christ
God has rescued us from the dark,
And to the Kingdom of His Son;
So no matter where we embark,
Now able to be as one.
His Son already paid the price,
To free us from the thrall of sin;
And because of His sacrifice,
When confessed we are forgiven.
The firstborn of all creation,
As the image of our God;
That has given us salvation,
To whom that we honor and laud.
He created all things on earth,
Just as He did throughout Heaven;
As well as a chance for rebirth,
That each of us has been given.
Whence you separated from Him,
All the evil things that you did;
Made your life very dark and grim,
As deeper and deeper you slid.
But now the Christ has brought you back,
By giving of His flesh and blood;
So you can have what you did lack,
Before baptized within His flood.
