Bless This Child
Bless this child you've given me,
keep her safe, secure, and free.
Help me guide her as she grows.
Light the pathway where she goes.
Hear her songs each time she sings.
Let her laugh at silly things.
Give her courage in the fight.
Show her how to choose what's right.
I'll need grace like none before
when she's mad and slams her door.
Help me show her faith and love
with Your guidance from above.
Thanks for listening to my prayer.
I will hold her with due care;
Not too close, not far away,
Just enough to fill today.
