A New Standing
The way we make God proud,
Is the way Moses taught;
Doing as He allowed,
Never as we have sought.
But all who do believe,
Through faith in Jesus Christ;
By God shall then receive,
The love they sacrificed.
Each of us is the same,
Have sinned and fallen short;
Of glory to proclaim,
For losing His support.
But an act of kindness,
For the price Christ had paid;
We have His blessedness,
And need not be afraid.
Through His mercy and grace,
We are truly set free;
Knowing soon we will face,
We will sing joyfully.
We will go to Heaven,
For the sins in the past;
Will be all forgiven,
And no more an outcast.
