 The Unfairness Of Angels

M27


Driving down the M27
I find a little piece of heaven
Autumn fades into winters dreams
Highlighting the many greens
Of leaves upon the trees
Whistling harmony in the breeze
The chocolate and chestnut browns
Wooden paths lead into towns
Yellow suns and orange glare
Amongst the trees naked and bare
Clouds on the horizon hang like cotton
The Crowe sings “I'm not forgotten”
Flowers and fauna, it's an urban florist
The M27 weaves through the New Forrest
I am reminded driving down this Motorway
That winter is now on its way.
