REMEMBERING YESTERDAY

How the time has past I must say
Yet it is as if we met yesterday
In a college dorm I heard her say,
"I'd like to introduce my friend."
Then a girl I have forgotten walked away
All the guys were looking at me
To be with this dark haired beauty envied
Now color white and so naturally
It doesn't seem forty nine years ago
My oh my where does the time go?
Now we have Grandchildren off to school
My wish they find a perfect mate like you
