A Warning of Testing
Do not try to worship false gods,
They are evil as well as frauds;
Like some that sat down for a feast,
But was an orgy with a beast.
Some are into sexual sin,
Causing sickness to spread within;
From diseases that most will die,
Contracted as they cheat and lie.
Never put the Lord to the test,
For you will never become blest;
You may find fate what venom makes,
When bitten by poisonous snakes.
Do not complain as others did,
That had caused them to have backslid;
You could meet the angel of death,
Who will ensure of your last breath.
These make examples for others,
Not be like sisters and brothers;
Of the Commandments they ignored,
That have been expressed by the Lord.
These are things that give warning,
To wake up that final morning;
Temptations you could not resist,
But power from God does exist.
