Settling Disagreements between Christians
When one of you has a complaint,
With another lacking restraint;
Do not go to court to settle,
Where wicked people can meddle.
Let holy people settle it,
In front of the Holy Spirit;
So you would be able to rest,
And all of the facts would be blest.
For the day will come you will judge,
All of the world and not begrudge;
As an impartial voice for God,
On others that have remained flawed.
We will judge even the angels,
How good they were from all angles;
Not to mention things of this life,
That was causing hardship and strife.
For you should truly be ashamed,
Not living as you have proclaimed;
There must be a man in your search,
That is very wise in your church.
If one believer goes to court,
Against another that will thwart;
You are already defeated,
For Satan is the judge seated.
