Never Discouraged
I do not become discouraged,
When faced in being disparaged;
Since God gives us mercy and grace,
I do not feel any disgrace.
I never use the shameful ways,
Like another uses that strays;
No secrets or tricks in the bag,
For I will never try to brag.
Regardless what you may have heard,
I will never distort His Word;
Rather the truth that comes from God,
To whom I do honor and laud.
The god of this world has blinded,
Mortals that were open minded;
So the ones who do not believe,
The light they will never receive.
The Good News about the glory,
Think as a fictional story;
Nor Christ a true image of God,
All of it as being a fraud.
But a servant am I of Him,
Who never lets the light go dim;
For out of the dark Christ gives light,
With wisdom for giving insight.
